Please join me for a lovely weekend of writing and paper crafts. Share a relaxing time exploring the town for nature's constant inspirations. Meet with new friends who share your love of the written word and the magic of creating your own unique expressions. Tobey and John Shepherd at The Linden Tree Inn await us with cozy accommodations and delicious meals. Together we will:

  • > Explore the whys and wherefores of writing personal notes, cards and letters

  • > Remember and practice your own beautiful handwriting

  • > Have fun making marbled paper and custom envelopes

  • > Learn the "rules" for creating and sending Mail Art - a fun way to keep in touch with family and friends

  • > Create one-of-a-kind bound book journals to keep track of your "snail-mailings"

  • > Begin correspondence with a new Pen Pal or reconnect with old friends

  • > Rediscover your creative spark, then take it home with you to enchant your everyday life



I promise lots of fun and surprises, and ample time to enjoy the beautiful coast and it's quaint shops. Spring is coming, Friends! Bring a friend and take $25 off of your inclusive and reasonable $425 price tag. (Includes room with private bath and all meals except Saturday lunch. One room has a two person occupancy with twin beds. This is a great way to share the cost of your room.) This retreat is limited to 12 participants. I look forward to being with you!

Fine Print -

All retreat room fees, a meet and greet time Friday evening, breakfast and dinner on Saturday, and brunch prior to leaving on Sunday plus all taxes, are included in one very reasonable price. Saturday lunch on your own gives you the opportunity to explore the town.


Payment in full is required one (1) week prior to the event (April 13th). Cancelled reservations will receive a full refund (minus $50 fee for holding open the space) offered until one (1) week prior to the event (April 13th). If another person is able to claim your space, a full refund will be offered up until one (1) week prior to the event. NO refunds offered after this one (1) week period. Agreement to these terms is required and assumed by your payment and registration. Thanks for your cooperation!
